Bo Jackson for 5- hour Energy

LEG secured Bo Jackson to improve 5-Hour Energy's brand awareness. LEG negotiated the contracts, secured the filming location and provided logistical support throughout the talent procurement process. The spot generated more than 11 million views on YouTube.

Johnny Bench for Topps

To promote the storied trading card company’s new 2014 Topps Baseball Series 1 line, MLAM secured Baseball Hall of Famer Johnny Bench as the talent.

Between social, online and traditional media, Topps generated over 17.2 million impressions in less than one day.

Bench drew on his own experiences buying Topps cards as a kid while promoting the new series by engaging in radio interviews throughout domestic media markets, including appearances on syndicated and simulcast programs such as The Dan Patrick and Boomer and Carton Shows.

Dale Murphy for Mobil 1

MLB legends have hosted oil Changeup Days at Mobil 1 Lube Express locations and appeared at minor league parks in markets to enhance the brand’s visibility. The Tour, which has reached over 1.5 million fans since its inception, has included 30 player appearances in 30 markets across the country.

Since 2011, Mobil Super has brought together two of America’s favorite pastimes, road trips and baseball, with its “Go The Distance” Minor League Baseball Tour.

Paul Molitor/Ron Guidry for American Meat Institute

Major League Baseball legends have enhanced the American Meat Institute’s immensely popular event on Capitol Hill for over 12 years.  MLAM has been the provider of talent throughout.

The luncheon annually features MLB legends signing autographs for Capitol Hill staffers, lawmakers, and meat industry representatives while promoting the time-tested relationship between hotdogs and baseball.

Players to have appeared at the luncheon include Paul Molitor, Vince Coleman, Whitey Herzog, Lou Brock, Andre Dawson, Juan Marichal, Jim Rice, Harmon Killebrew, Dale Murphy, Frank Howard, Bob Boone & Lee Smith.

Jim Kaat for Conrad & Associates

Conrad & Associates, an award-winning production company that develops major disease state awareness programs with an emphasis on improving health literacy through education and actionable information, secured 16-time Gold Glove Award winner and seven-time Emmy Award winner Jim Kaat to be featured in A Guide to Advanced Bladder Cancer for Patients and Caregivers based on his time as a caregiver to his late wife MaryAnn who suffered from advanced bladder cancer. Jim participated in a sit-down interview, assisted in capturing lifestyle footage, fulfilled PSA recordings and his likeness was used in the educational video, PSAs and companion booklet which were presented by the Society of Urological Oncologists. LEG identified Kaat as a fit for this program through research and existing relationships, negotiated the deal and also liaised with Major League Baseball and Rawlings among others to secure rights to use images and marks of those companies in the materials.

Nomar Garciaparra for Samuel Adams

With no fans in the stands during the 2020 season, Boston Beer Company and its flagship brand Samuel Adams, the official beer of the Boston Red Sox, tabbed its advertising agency Goodby, Silverstein & Partners to bring some levity to the new rule changes for the season by pairing the recently introduced Your Cousin from Boston character with Red Sox legend Nomar Garciaparra. The two go back and forth about the things players couldn’t do on the field, i.e. the “Nomah” list. LEG negotiated the terms, secured Nomar for the production and worked tirelessly on a short timetable to manage the logistics of shipping and setting up high-quality recording equipment remotely and making the spot a success for the brand and agency.

Billy Bean for Chobani

"In our Chobani townhalls and listening sessions we’re familiar with being authentic, real and genuine.

Mr. Bean delivered the same authenticity and exceeded our expectations.

His ability to connect to our teams with sincerity, yet challenge everyone with purpose is uncanny.

We experienced what it meant to be your whole and best self! And we felt the emotions when those things aren’t true.

We needed more time with Mr. Bean but I’m sure we’ll have him back.

Mr. Bean is always welcome at Chobani. Thanks Billie!"
